Windsor RVs is excited to announce the launch of the redesigned Windsor Rapid, a beloved and iconic model in the brand's history. The new version takes the original expanding concept to the next level, offering even more adventure. While still rooted in Windsor’s heritage, the updated Rapid is designed to tackle off-road conditions and provide an enhanced experience for those who love to explore.

New Model Range

The all-new Windsor Rapid is available in three distinct models:

• Rapid 13: A 13-foot unit offering comfortable space for two, featuring a king-size bed.
• Rapid 15D: A 15-foot model with extra living space for two to three people, an internal kitchen, dinette, and king-size bed.
• Rapid 15B: A 15-foot family model, with a king-size bed and bunks to sleep up to four.

Each model is fitted with a moulded one-piece ensuite, complete with an internal shower and Dometic cassette toilet.

Rugged Exterior Design

The new Windsor Rapid has a robust, nature-inspired colour scheme, perfect for blending into off-grid environments while withstanding harsh conditions. Orange accents on the drop bar add a pop of colour, while honouring the Apollo factory in Brisbane, where these final touches are applied alongside other premium RV brands like Windsor and Winnebago.

Built for Rough Terrain

Equipped with 16-inch mud tyres and two full-size spares, the Windsor Rapid is ready for any off-road adventure. Its independent coil spring suspension with twin shock absorbers on each wheel ensures smooth towing and handling, while the hot-dipped galvanised chassis and underbody Raptor coating offer durability on tough terrain. The Cruisemaster DO35 coupling guarantees a secure connection as you navigate challenging landscapes.

Effortless Setup

Staying true to its name, the Windsor Rapid boasts a quick and easy setup that increases internal space to comfortably fit a king-size bed and a functional living area. The fold-out and pop-up system can be set up in under ten minutes and securely locked into place, ensuring a stress-free experience every time.

With 240 litres of freshwater capacity, two 135 Amp hour lithium batteries, and six 100W solar panels (five on the 13-foot model) powered by a 2000W inverter, the Windsor Rapid is equipped for extended journeys into remote areas. Ample Storage and Load Capacity

The Windsor Rapid is designed for adventure with plenty of storage and tie-down points. It features full-width storage (Rapid 13 and 15B), a fridge slide, and additional lockers throughout. With a Tare weight of 2450 kg (2250 kg for the 13-foot model) and an ATM of 2990 kg, the Rapid offers over 500 kg of load capacity, giving you the flexibility to bring all your essentials for a remote getaway.

Comprehensive Warranty

The Windsor Rapid comes with an extensive warranty: a three-year warranty on the drawbar, chassis, and suspension, plus a three-year structural warranty. The tent and canvas components are covered by a one-year warranty.

The new Windsor Rapid is priced from $59,995 for the Rapid 13, and $64,995 for the Rapid 15D and 15B. It will be available through THL’s national network of RV Super Centre dealerships, with stock arriving in February.
