The brand is iconic. Avan. The vans, particularly in camper form, are instantly recognisable. Building on decades of reputation and a legacy that remains the cornerstone of their name, even today, their Sydney dealership is a gateway to fun.

Whether you need a compact camper for a quick getaway, a pop top, a hard top caravan or even a motor home, Avan Sydney can help. If you’re looking for something capable and high quality, there’s Golf too.

The Avan philosophy is both simple and practical; build a lightweight product that can be easily handled or towed, with all the comfort and convenience required of the caravanning lifestyle and do it at an affordable price.

Backed by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, the range includes five campers: the AdventurePlus, Aliner, Cruiseliner, Cruiser and Sportliner. Each features a practical design, with some sleeping up to eight people.

Inside, there’s a microwave, a gas/electric hot water system, a radio and CD player, and air conditioning, while on the outside, there’s external speakers and a hot and cold-water shower, solar panels, and access to a gas bayonet.

Avan’s pop tops include the Aspire 400 and 500 Series’, and the Ray, spanning a total of 20 vans. Each gives you the benefits of a full-size caravan with a lower, more streamlined profile.

There’s plenty of quality inclusions too, depending on which variant you choose, including a hot water service (model specific), microwave oven, 3-way fridge, LED lighting, the option of a full ensuite and shower, and a 4-burner cooktop.

Exterior highlights include an awning and LED lighting. In the case of the Ray, there’s also a rear door slide out, which adds an entire bedroom. There are options for bunks and dinettes too.

Those are joined by a vast range of hard top vans, including the Aspire 400, 500 and 564-600 Series, the self-named Avan 500 and 600 Series, and the Infinity Slide out. Totalling 31 different possible layouts and sizes, there’s something for everyone.

The Aspire Series for example offers maximum comfort and versatility, with a two-piece exterior door, soft touch screen door, hot water in shower vans, a microwave and fridge, a 4-burner cooktop and grill, LED lighting and an electric water pump.

At the opposite end of the spectrum is the Infinity, which features a full width rear en-suite and a queen size island bed with inner spring mattress. There’s even a 40-inch pop up TV that slides discreetly into the cupboard space when not in use.

A well-equipped kitchen includes a 175-litre 3-way fridge, microwave oven, deep bowl sink, 12-volt range hood with light, 4 burner cooktop and grill and large slide out pantry.

Towards the front on the Avan Infinity (which measures 23-foot in its largest form) is a comfortable U-shaped club lounge, with a large table, leaving plenty of space for the travelling visitor or two.

Avan’s motor homes include the Ovation M7 an M8 (slide out) and its B Class and C Class siblings, as well as the compact Applause series. Spanning more than 20 different configurations and across four vehicle sizes, the range is impressive.

Delivering unmatched luxury, each is appointed with beautifully crafted timber furniture and deluxe fittings, along with a host of technology, including a media sound system, a TV, hot water service, a large fridge and gas cooktops and oven.

In most cases you’ll also find an innerspring mattress and ambient LED lighting, along with ceiling and reading lights, and swivel chairs for the driver and front passenger. Optional extras include leather upholstery and solar panels.

If you’re looking for value, the Golf Challenger camper series continues to offer a host of outstanding features, including a fully enclosed stainless steel lift system, available across eight variants.

Offered in both a standard form and a Bush Challenger option (with additional off road capability), all feature a 4 burner mini-grill, a microwave, an electric water pump and a 90-ltire fridge. Some models offer a shower.

There’s also the option to add an electric roof lift system, an awning, roof racks, and off road braking. The Challenger range is joined by the x265 – a boldly designed compact camper with excellent ground clearance.

Designed for one to two people, it features a double bed, internal storage, LED lighting, a slide-out kitchen, compressor fridge and solar panels. Golf’s caravans span five different ranges.

Available in both pop top and hardtop, the Savannah series adds a touch of luxury to your camping experience. Built using strong construction methods, it’s packed full of goodies, including Al-Ko Enduro independent suspension.

You’ll also find a stainless-steel slide-out external camp kitchen with built-in Waeco fridge and solar. It’s joined by the Savannah Maxxi series, which boasts a compact fold-out style pop top caravan which is a dream to tow and set up.

Designed to sleep a family of six in comfort, it features two, fold down double beds at either end of the van, cafe dinette seating which also drops into a large double bed and a full ensuite, with a separate shower and toilet.

The Grand Tourer range spans seven vans, three with slide-out kitchens, along with solar panels, a bike rack, air conditioning, an entertainment hatch, 24-inch TV and a front-loading washing machine.
